Troubleshooting
These messages appear in the Problems panel, feature dialogs, the sketch panel and the status bar of a drawing or an assembly.

REFERENCE_FRAGILE | A face or edge was found by its position, not by how it was made | Check the result after changes; pick it again if it moved |
INPUT_MISSING | Something the feature uses is missing, suppressed or failed | Fix or unsuppress that feature first |
FEATURE_INVALID_GEOMETRY | The geometry could not be built, for example Fillet failed | Often a size is too large for the shape: try a smaller value |
PROFILE_INVALID | The sketch has no closed area | Connect the curves into a loop |
CONSTRAINT_CONFLICT | Sketch constraints contradict each other | Open the sketch and delete one of them |
SKETCH_PROJECTION_DANGLING | A projected edge is gone or changed its shape | Delete the projection and project again |
SKETCH_UNDERDEFINED | The sketch can still move. It builds as it is | Add dimensions or constraints if you plan to change it |
VALUE_OUT_OF_RANGE | A value is outside what the feature accepts | Change the value |
UNIT_MISMATCH | The wrong kind of unit, for example an angle where a length is needed | Fix the expression |
UNKNOWN_NAME | An expression uses a parameter that does not exist | Add the parameter or fix the name |
PATTERN_EMPTY | Nothing to repeat | Pick an extrude, revolve or hole |
HOLE_NO_POINTS | The hole's sketch has no points | Add points with the Point tool |
SHELL_THICKER_THAN_FILLET | A shell wall is as thick as a fillet radius or more | Make the wall thinner or shell before filleting |
PATH_NOT_CONNECTED | A sweep path falls apart or branches | Join the curves where the message says |
TEXT_PARAMETER_MISSING | A sketch text uses {name} for a parameter the part does not have | Add the parameter or fix the name |
TEXT_FONT_MISSING | The font of a sketch text could not be loaded | Check your connection and reload |
THREAD_FACE_LOST | A face with a thread is gone | Pick the face again in the thread |
THREAD_SIZE_UNKNOWN | No thread of the standard fits the face | Choose the size |
THREAD_DIAMETER_MISMATCH | The thread's size does not match the face | Check the size or the face |
KNURL_HEAVY | A modeled knurl makes more than 2000 faces | Use a coarser pitch or a cosmetic knurl |
IMPORT_FILE_MISSING | The imported STEP file is still loading or cannot be downloaded | Check your connection; choose the file again if it persists |
IMPORT_UNREADABLE | The imported file is not a STEP file or is damaged | Choose another file |
IMPORT_NOT_SOLID | Shapes in the STEP file are open surfaces, not solids | Turn on healing, or ask for a file with solids |
IMPORT_PARTIAL | A solid the Import step uses is no longer in the file | Check the solids in the Import step |
APPEARANCE_FACE_LOST | Faces with a finish of their own are gone after a change | Clear their finishes or undo the change |
CONFIGURATION_MISSING | A component uses a configuration its part no longer has, so it shows the default | Choose another configuration |
MIRROR_EMPTY | A mirrored feature adds no material of its own, such as a fillet | Mirror the feature it sits on |
HOLE_MISSES_BODY | The hole drills away from the body and cuts nothing | Turn on Drill the other way, or move the points |
UNITS_LOCKED | Units can be changed only while the part is empty | Start a new part with the units you need |
PARAMETER_IN_USE | The parameter is used and cannot be deleted | Change what uses it first (see Used by) |
| This would over-constrain the sketch | The new constraint or dimension contradicts the others | Delete or change an existing one |
KERNEL_TIMEOUT | The rebuild made no progress for 30 s and was stopped | Undo the last change or simplify the model |
KERNEL_CRASHED | The geometry engine stopped and was restarted | Undo the last change and try again |
DIMENSION_DANGLING | A drawing's dimension lost the edge it measures | Reattach or delete it |
ANNOTATION_INVALID | A drawing's dimension cannot measure its edge that way | Reattach it or change its type |
VIEW_SOURCE_MISSING | A drawing's part was deleted or cannot be read | Restore the part, or delete the view |
VIEW_EMPTY | A drawing's view shows nothing: the part has no solid | Model a solid in the part |
PROJECTION_FAILED | A drawing's view could not be computed | Undo the last change of the part and open the drawing again |
COMPONENT_SOURCE_MISSING | An assembly's component lost its part: deleted or not readable | Restore the part, or delete the component |
COMPONENT_EMPTY | An assembly's component shows nothing: its part has no solid | Model a solid in the part |
JOINT_DANGLING | A joint lost the face or edge it attaches to; nothing moved | Reattach or delete it |
JOINT_INVALID | A joint cannot use its face or edge that way, for example the axis of a flat face | Reattach it to a round face or an edge |
JOINT_CONFLICT | A loop cannot close (links too short, a joint or rigid group that disagrees) and is ignored where it fails | Change the joint's offset or angle or the parts' sizes, or delete it |
JOINT_DUPLICATE | A joint repeats another one: the same type between the same faces with the same values | Delete one of the two |
RELATION_DANGLING | A joint of a relation is deleted, suppressed or cannot move | Edit the relation |
RELATION_CONFLICT | A relation cannot hold with the other joints and relations | Check its ratio and direction |
ASSEMBLY_CYCLE | An assembly would contain itself, also through a subassembly | Insert another assembly |
SUBASSEMBLY_PROBLEMS | A subassembly has problems of its own | Open it from its properties and fix them there |
JOINT_LIMIT | A joint's position is outside its limits, or min is above max; it is held at the limit | Change the position or the limits |
The app does not start
Moket needs WebAssembly and WebGL 2. Update the browser, turn off extensions that block scripts for app.moket.io, and reload. See the system requirements.
My part is gone
Parts are in your account: sign in with the same account and look on Home or in All projects. Use the search at the top to find a part by name. A deleted part or project cannot be restored from the app.
Changes are not saved
