Open and save files
Your parts live in your Moket account and are saved automatically, see How Moket saves your work. Files are for keeping a copy outside Moket and for moving parts in and out.
Access: Top bar > File in the part editor, or Import .cadpack and a part's ⋮ menu on Home and project pages.
Save a part as a file
File > Save as .cadpack, or ⋮ > Download .cadpack on the part's card. The browser downloads the complete editable part with its history, sketches and parameters, and the STEP files it imports.
Import a file
File > Import .cadpack... (Ctrl+O) in the editor, or Import .cadpack on Home or a project page, and choose a .cadpack file. The part is added to the project and opens. If it is already one of your parts, Moket offers to Import a copy.
Start a new part
File > New part creates an empty part in the same project and opens it. The part you were editing is already saved.
Rename the part
Click the part's name in the top bar, type the new name and press Enter. The new name is saved like any other change.
A part from before Moket accounts
Before accounts, Moket kept the open part only in the browser. The first time you sign in from that browser, Home offers to Import into a project that part. Click Dismiss if you do not need it.
